Intraplan is part of the working group that carries out the design and evaluation of regional rail transport expansion measures as part of the ‘Munich Region Railway Expansion’ programme. An article on the final project results was published in the specialist journal ETR - Eisenbahntechnische Rundschau 2024/12.

The focus of Intraplan’s work in the ‘Munich Region Rail Expansion’ project is on transport demand forecasts and benefit-cost analyses of the regional rail transport expansion measures to be examined. In continuation of the ETR articles from 2021/05 and 2022/08, the 2024/12 edition will provide information on the study as a whole:
– Timeline of the feasibility study
– Description/effect/evaluation of the measures analysed
– Methodology
– Summary of the results
