Project “climate protection in transport” launched on behalf of the German Environment Agency (UBA)

On the road to climate neutrality by 2045, there is a wide range of alternative courses of action that approach the goal in different ways and at different speeds. On behalf of the German Environment Agency, various scenarios with a focus on rail and public transport for achieving the climate protection targets in Germany are being examined using transport model calculations (traffic and emissions) and supplementary socio-economic analyses.
