Our product
We offer you a standardised web solution for the focussed analysis of transport planning issues, which ensures an insightful and effective gain of knowledge. The systematic modularisation of the mobile data platform enables it to be customised to your specific professional requirements as well as to the particularities of the area under investigation. Our evaluation modules also encourage you to explore the data landscape, providing you with inspiration for further promising investigations.
Our mobility data platform works on the basis of survey data as well as mobile phone data. Survey data, i.e. data collected in public transport surveys, provide valuable insights into the demand volumes and structure in the study area. With our mobile data platform, demand hotspots, the spatial and temporal distribution of passenger demand, the ticket mix used and much more can be determined in no time at network, relation, line and station level. In this way, it is possible, among other things, to determine the distribution of travel purposes and age groups, to analyse transfer relationships, to calculate transfer rates and to highlight tourist hotspots.
Valuable insights into mobility behaviour can also be derived from mobile phone data. Due to the very large amount of data, it is possible to determine fine-grained demand quantities and to evaluate the spatial and temporal distribution (over the course of the day, by weekdays and quarters). Mobile phone data are an excellent basis for the analysis of demand potentials in public transport and form an incredibly valuable data source if only few findings on mobility in the study area are available so far.
Data and methods form a single unit
Our mobility data platform is pre-configured and ready for immediate use. For this purpose, we process survey data that are already available to you, or we design a customised public transport survey together with you, which we carry out together with our long-standing partner o.trend GmbH. In addition, together with our partner Teralytics, we offer you up-to-date mobile phone data for your planning area, which is integrated into the mobile data platform for your analyses.
